What This Means For Us
Colossians shows us that because Jesus is the very image of God and is ruler over all things we can depend on Him for anything we need. He created everything and holds everything together, even to this day.
It’s only because of Jesus that we can have salvation and know who God actually is. It’s not by our works, our good outweighing our bad or any other form of pseudo spirituality that we can know God. We only know God through Jesus and what He has done for us.
Because of these truths every aspect of our lives should change. From our mindsets to how we interact with people, all of it should be done to worship and honor Jesus.
